The following article discusses how Tradebox can be configured to split Trade and Retail orders from WooCommerce where the B2BKing WooCommerce Extension is being used.
Splitting orders in Tradebox between Retail and Trade is based upon the Value entry in the B2BKing custom field in WooCommerce called "b2bking_is_b2b_order" .
Where the value equals NO, the order is treated as a Retail order.
Where the value equals YES, the order is treated as a Trade order.
Once this WooCommerce add-on has been set up and is populating this field on the orders with the applicable entry, Tradebox needs to be configured. Please ensure you are on the very latest build of Tradebox.
In Tradebox select Configuration > Database Settings and the tick the Enable B2BKing Plugin tick box. The select Save.
Then go to the Sales Channel List and double click on the WooCommerce Channel. This will now contain a new drop down field called Order Type.
This drop down field has three options, which filter order types as follows:
- ALL = All orders, both Retail and Trade
- TRADE = Trade orders only (YES in the b2bking_is_b2b_order field)
- RETAIL = Retail orders only (NO in the b2bking_is_b2b_order field)
Once the division of orders has been made, 2 channel can be created in Tradebox that point to the same WooCommerce website. A channel that only downloads Trade orders and a channel that only downloads Retails orders. Each channel can then be separately configured for how these orders should be posted to the integrated accounts software.
