Magento Customer Groups

Orders that are placed on Magento can be allocated to Customer Groups on the Magento website. Tradebox allows you to place a download filter on orders from chosen customer groups. This would allow users to create a Magento channel in Tradebox to exclusively download orders that belonged to a RETAIL customer group and another channel in Tradebox to exclusively download orders that belonged to a TRADE customer group.

Customer Group configuration is found within the DETAILS tab within the Magento sales channel in Tradebox. The Download column indicates the customer groups that have been chosen for download.

The On Hold column allows all orders from a specified customer group to be automatically placed on hold in Tradebox. This means that the order cannot be marked as dispatched or posted to an accounts package until its status has been changed manually in the Order Module.

If you add a new customer group to your Magento site, you can refresh the list by clicking on the Action button in the bottom right hand corner and choosing Magento - Get Customer Groups.
