If you've chosen Tradebox as your stock control system, there are a few ways of building your product list. All of these methods are equally effective, and none is really any quicker than the others. If you've got your product lists set up in different systems and aren't sure where to import from, consider:
- Generally speaking, you should import from wherever you have the most complete list of your products.
- If you sell a mix of VAT and non-VAT goods, try to import from a source where the product tax code will be imported. The following sources include product tax codes in the import routine:
- A CSV file if the Tax Code field is populated
- Sage Accounts
- Shopify
- Xero Accounts
- The SKUs or product codes on whichever system you're importing from will be used as the Tradebox SKU. If you use different SKUs on other marketplaces, you'll map those later, after the product records have been created.
The import routine varies slightly from source to source. Click the link below and you'll be taken to the relevant guide.
