A question we're often asked is why Tradebox populates a carriage figure on Amazon FBA orders when this money is not received by the seller as Amazon do the shipping.
The reason for this is that the Tradebox order and invoice must reflect the entire amount that the customer paid. When Amazon produce the settlement report every two weeks with the breakdown of their payments to you and the fees you've been charged, the value of the carriage on each order is included in the fee amount. So, although you do not receive the carriage amount directly, it needs to be included on the invoice as it is then deducted from your accounts when the Amazon fees are entered, so the two balance each other out.
