New EKM VAT setting in version released 05/10/2023

In version 2.0.231004.0 of Tradebox, released 05/10/2023, we have added a new setting to EKM channels which may affect your VAT calculations. Previously, Tradebox assumed that users would have the same tax settings on EKM for both product prices and carriage amounts. However, as EKM allows different tax rates to be set for products and carriage, we’ve updated Tradebox to allow users to do the same thing within their Tradebox channel.

The addition of this new setting means all EKM users will need to check their settings within Tradebox after updating their version to ensure tax continues to be calculated correctly on carriage.

First of all, check your tax settings on EKM to find out whether this affects you. 

If your Delivery Price Tax setting on EKM shows Delivery Charges Include Tax, then you can ignore this as you won’t be affected by the changes. If it shows Delivery Charges Exclude Tax however, then go to Tradebox and open up your EKM channel settings by double clicking the channel in the Channels tab of the program. 

 

You will need to tick the new Carriage Is Net tick box to ensure that tax remains correct on your EKM carriage after the update.
