If you have upgraded Sage 50 Accounts or made changes to the Sage data path, you may need to repoint Tradebox at the Sage data. This can be done as follows:
- In Tradebox go to the Channels screen. Double click the first sales channel in the list to open it.
- Go to the Sage 50 tab within the channel. At this point, Tradebox will try to connect to your Sage data.
- If this is unsuccessful, the program will remain on the CONNECTION tab which displays the Sage 50 company Tradebox is connected to.
- Choose Demo Data from the Company drop down menu and then select the actual Sage company you wish Tradebox to connect with. This process refreshes the connection data.
- Make sure that the path to the Sage Data Folder in Tradebox is exactly the same as the Sage data path in Sage (Sage > Help > About).
Then choose the Connect to Sage button.
**There is an option to apply this connection to all channels in the tick box above the Connect to Sage button.**
Make sure:

- The correct Sage company is showing in the Company box.
- The Data Folder matches your Sage Data Directory.
- The Version matches the first digits of your Sage Version Number.
- If all of your sales channels post into the same Sage company, tick the box to Apply these Connection Details to All Sales Channels with an Accounts Link, and then click Connect to Sage.
- If your channels post into different Sage companies, leave the box unticked, click Connect to Sage, and then repeat the process in each channel individually.
