When the Tradebox Service is engaged with a specific channel, a tick will appear in the very last column of the Sales Channel List to indicate that the Service is engaged with this channel. This means that the Tradebox Service is running tasks for this channel, like downloading orders or posting the orders to your accounts software.
Whilst the Tradebox service is engaged with a channel, that channel cannot be accessed. If you try and open a channel that the Tradebox Service is engaged with, you will get the following error message in a dialog box:
"The selected sales channel is currently being processed by the Tradebox Service and cannot be amended"
You will need to wait until the Tradebox Service moves to another channel before you can access or open the first channel. If you do not wish to wait, you can force Tradebox to restart which will stop the Tradebox Service and allow you access into the channel:
- Find which PC runs the Tradebox Service.
- On this PC, right click on the Task Bar at the bottom of the PC screen and choose Task Manager.
- When the Task Manager opens search for "Tradebox" in the search bar and then close Tradebox.exe from the APPS section. In the Background Processes, close Tradebox_Service.exe and Tradebox_Application_Service.exe.
- Open Tradebox, go to the Sales Channel List and double click on the channel.
