Please use the following checklist to resolve Sage 50 stock levels not uploading to your Shopify webstore, via Tradebox.
- Check the ISSUES log for any entries that relate to the stock upload OR any connection issues to Sage 50.
- Go to the Channels list and check that the Shopify sales channel is ACTIVE and has the UPLOAD option is ticked.
- Check that the SKU you wish to upload stock levels for has a CHANNEL ID.
- Go to the Products section in Tradebox.
- Enter the SKU in the search bar in the top right and press enter.
-
Double click on the product entry in the grid and go to the CHANNELS tab.
In the grid, find the Shopify sales channel. This will display:
*The Last Upload Quantity
*The Date of the Last Upload
* If the SKU has a CHANNEL ID
*If the SKU is excluded from upload
If the SKU does NOT have a CHANNEL ID then Add a Channel ID. Only SKU's with a Shopify Channel ID can have stock levels uploaded to Shopify.
4. If the SKU does have a CHANNEL ID, is NOT excluded and has a Last Upload Quantity (not N/A - this means no stock level has been uploaded) then take a note of the Last Upload Date. Does this date correspond with when the stock level last changed in Sage 50 Accounts? Check the PROCESS log and the ISSUES log for the SKU on the date the stock level last changed in Sage 50. The PROCESS log will show if any attempt was made to upload the stock level for this SKU. The ISSUES log will show if there were any issues. Use the date/time stamp in any upload entry from the PROCESS log to narrow the search in the ISSUES log, i.e. If the process Log has an entry showing the upload, "11/01/2026 12:01:13 - Quantity of 1000 for SKU BOOKS002 was uploaded to Shopify" look in the ISSUES log for the same date/time period. Issues may also relate to connection issues with Sage 50 which would prevent Tradebox from accessing Sage and passing a stock level
